Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. I wholeheartedly welcome individuals from all faiths, beliefs, cultures, and backgrounds. I believe every person has the right to discover their true purpose and live a life of continued growth, joy, and fulfilment, regardless of their cultural, religious, or background differences. That’s why my services are designed to be beneficial for everyone. I want to clarify that Fullness of Joy Life Coaching is not a platform for religious conversion. I do not use my faith to influence my clients in any way. I will always accept and listen to your stories without any judgment or prejudice. My goal is to build a relationship of trust with you, and together we can work towards achieving your goals in alignment with your values. However, I will never shy away from giving praise and glory to my LORD and SAVIOR in all that I do. This is why you will find Bible verses throughout this website. As a Christian, I strive to follow Biblical principles in my life and my Life Coaching practice. Ultimately, the decision to choose a coach is yours to make.

No. The client is always the sole decision-maker in the coaching process. The job of a coach is to provide clarity, support, encouragement and accountability. While your life coach might suggest a different perspective or a different approach than you normally would, the client must decide whether to take action. The Life Coach does not in any way control the client’s thoughts, actions or life. The client is always in charge and responsible for their own life and ultimately makes their own decisions and takes their actions. Any consequences resulting from such decisions and actions are the sole responsibility of the client. The client owns his or her success!
My ultimate goal with life coaching is to create an atmosphere of trust and dynamic partnership brimming with positive attitude, energy and new ideas. I offer a secure setting to collaborate and facilitate your progress towards a sustainable course of action. I employ innovative and practical strategies to aid in attaining clarity regarding your objectives, exploring unused opportunities, enhancing personal accountability, and empowering you to take action, thereby enabling you to experience not just a successful but a truly joyful life.
Life Coaching is not therapy, counselling, mental healthcare or treatment for substance abuse or any addictive behaviour. Life Coaching takes into account that clients are emotionally healthy, and functioning fairly effectively. The focus is on the present situation and the client’s unique needs and goals for the future. Past issues or traumas are not worked on by the Life coach. The life coach is not functioning as a licensed mental health care professional, therapist or counsellor. Life coaching is not intended as a replacement for counselling, psychiatric interventions, treatment for mental illness, recovery from past abuse, professional medical advice, financial assistance, legal counsel or other professional services.
Life isn’t as uncomplicated as it used to be. There is more to life than just having a job that pays the bills. We now want jobs that are not just financially rewarding, but also personally fulfilling. We want our activities to align and reflect our core values. Not only that, but we want our lives to have a deeper meaning. You may be a big success, but you may still feel empty and burned out deep down. Consider Solomon, the wisest man that ever lived. He finished his life with untold riches, was surrounded by hundreds of beautiful women, and enjoyed every pleasure that a person could ever desire in this world. Yet he died devoid of purpose, hollow, hopeless and full of regret. We can all benefit from the help of an expert. Even world-class athletes won’t compete in the Olympics without a coach. The advantage of having a coach is that it provides one with a competitive edge by equipping and preparing them to effectively face anticipated obstacles with firmness of mind and spirit. Don’t you want to finish well, unlike Solomon?
Rescheduling a session-to-session or Blocked session appointment to another time or date can be done at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment, otherwise, the session will be forfeited.
Cancellation
You may cancel a session-to-session arrangement if you provide at least 48 hours notice before the scheduled session. In this case, fees can be refunded with the deduction of a cancellation fee. However, if you fail to cancel within the 48-hour notice period, you can only reschedule the session, and a refund will not be possible.
Cancellation of a paid session within a Block arrangement is not possible as it would defeat the purpose of committing to a block. However, rescheduling session times should be made 24 hours before the agreed time and following the agreed procedure otherwise, the particular session will be forfeited. A break in a block may be arranged by mutual consent.
No. Fullness of Joy Life Coaching does not engage in the practice or endorsement of hypnosis. Although I have undergone studies in Neuro Linguistic Programming, it is important to note that I do not entirely subscribe to its principles, nor do I operate as a full-fledged practitioner of NLP.
The number of coaching sessions required is not fixed as they will be tailored to meet your specific needs and expectations. As a result, the number, frequency, and duration of the sessions I suggest will differ. The ultimate goal of life coaching is not to create a sense of dependence on the coach. Instead, the aim is to empower clients to develop their skills and capabilities and become self-sufficient in achieving their goals.
